A unique video of ruins in Loughatorick and Toorleitra, Woodford parish, Galway, Ireland which were documented and photographed as part of an MA in History of Family migration research project by Monica Hynes of the East Galway Family History Society.

Our Society is planning (subject to funding) as part of our Diaspora engagement, a Sliabh Aughty/Ultach Diaspora event for the descendants of the people from these townlands and other townlands in 2020.   A big thank you goes to those who helped with the fieldwork, namely Brian Keary, Willie Reilly, Michael Fahy, Joe Canning and Shane O’Neill and the Woodford community.
